Should've started with "Does /mu/ like Krautrock?"
>>71544813
no but this song has some krautrock things goin' on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwvHiZnAunI&list=RDGwvHiZnAunI
so does 'these are my twisted words'
I'd say a good deal of it is heavily krautrock inspired. Still put through the Radiohead filter but songs like Bloom, Little By Little and Feral certainly wear it on their sleeves.
Literally no.

>predominantly features rock instrumentation and structure
>isn't a rock album
?

But I'm only half-memeing.

>predominantly electronic loops
>heavy emphasis on instrumental rather than lyrics
>influenced by electronic artists
but its a rock album because it has 4/4 and because radiohead usually makes rock albums, right?

>usually
Every album they've made is a rock album. Even Kid A, where like half of its songs are still rock-oriented. I'd say there's less guitar influence than usual on TKOL but the drums and bass pick up the slack and then some.
So what genre is it then?
>>71544813
Krautrock is kind of a scene specific genre, no? Doesnt something have to be german made prog psych to really be krautrock?
>>71545191
>heavy emphasis on instrumental rather than lyrics
you're retarded

Catch-all as it may be, I'd say it's art rock, much like their other post-OKC efforts. That said, it's art rock with a notable krautrock backbone.
