Zeppelin is harder and Floyd is softer. I like Pink Floyd's albums better than I like Led Zeppelin's albums but Led Zeppelin have better songs to hang your hat on. See Kashmir, No Quarter, When the Levee breaks vs. nothing comes to mind except Dogs

Really so very different...Floyd trippy and spacey full of self reflecting angst...Zeppelin rocked hard on the blues and beyond but were also incredibly soft and sweet...

Floyd is interesting but the same basic gesalt...Zeppelin was all over the fucking place from heavy metal to country and folk...from Middle Earth to Honolulu to Chicago to Kashmir from cold North of Valhalla to Mississippi...they painted with a much broader brush
