Beat wise it was Tyler's best album.

There were some good tracks. Bastard is still my favorite release from him, but I'm probably biased because I heard it when I was in a depressive, angsty, impressionable state. Wheels still has this surreal, melty, somber sound that reminds me of my first relationship.

He's had some good content since then, but every track on Bastard felt raw and genuine in a way that sticks with me. I don't play it like I used to in high school, but when it comes up in shuffle or I just get in that mood, all the feelings and experiences associated with each track come straight back to me.

Wolf is his only release that's listenable all the way through.
