When analyzing B-side albums you quickly notice that their bpm lowers gradually song by song. A-side is so hectic and eclectic that the record just can't take it anymore eventually resulting in literal The Overload

The two songs before it definitely aren't fun and energetic. Remain in Light starts cheery, but it gradually slows down and completely changes mood. Side A is all happy, funtime songs, but only Once in a Lifetime and Houses in Motion are really upbeat on the B-side. Seen and Not Seen is very subdued and atmospheric, which carries into Listening Wind, where more sinister and dark themes start to creep in before The Overload caps it off. This change in tone is, in my opinion, one of the album's strengths.
