This is more ambient than it is hip-hop
I like the atmosphere but the sample is edited strangely. Maybe take some subs out of the sample too and add some stuff in the higher frequencies to keep interest.

the highs on your bitcrushed lead don't match the rest of the track's mixing, it peaks over everything else. Just tone down the distortion or lo-pass it ever so slightly

Thanks. You're probably right but it's hard to change it - the lead is what I built the song around so I'm really used to the sound now
