i would disagree. i think theres a whole lot more introspection in LUMs music than there ever was among the 90s memphis dudes. not entirely abundant in MTI but certainly a consistent theme throughout his discog.

also the means for production that are available in the 10s really provide a breath of fresh air in this memphis style imo
