Absolutely.
>>71458884
what's the range of a french horn?
>>71459082
about 40 feet, if you have a good arm.
>>71459082
But we almost never play lower than the F below (concert Bb3) the treble clef or higher than the C above (concert F5).

Ah, see trombone players can never get gigs... I guess you would know that if you were playing with other musicians regularly. =P
I always thought horn was the best until I heard the trombone solo in Mahler 3
tuba ftw

Sax is the gayest
>>71459351
Sax isn't considered a brass instrument
But yes you are right in that it is gay
>>71459409
WHaaaaat.
>>71459460
It's a woodwind instrument because you play it by blowing into a mouthpiece instead of buzzing into a mouthpiece like other brass instruments.
>>71459460
sound in a sax is caused by the vibration of a wooden reed in the mouthpiece

I have no idea. never been on discord.
>>71459547
Not really. Tomatoes are technically fruit, but no one adds them to fruit salad.
Saxes are technically woodwind instruments, but they work well in ensembles with brass.
Also, any instrument that you blow can be casually referred to as a 'horn'.
