Me and my brother are starting a band. About 3 years ago he used to listen to nothing but grime, dubstep and rap. How he's learning guitar and listens to a lot of blues and other actually okay genres which is pleasant.

After years of self teaching music theory, self teaching guitar, starting hundreds of songs, and finishing dozens, I've finally written songs that I enjoy. I hope to make demos soon. I hope to get a band started in the summer. This is my junior year of college so this is the last summer I'll have with enough free time to do this. Pray for me mu.

I'm trying to improve my bass skills overall in the long run, but at the moment I'm working on being able to finger pick with more of my fingers (building my ring and little fingers up to strength/accuracy/rhythm/dynamic control). My eventual goal is to be able to play metal/punk type stuff on a full size upright bass when I'm like 70 or some shit

what kind of music, if you want to make (shitty) electronic music you can just do it with pirated software and shit. or make (shitty) sound collages/musique concrete/field recordings. the cheapass guitar brands that get tossed around the most are squier and epiphone (fender/gibson)

I'm really digging this opening track.

When I finally start uploading stuff onto bandcamp (soon hopefully) I'm definitely buying this album.

I make music using exclusively free software. Ableton Live 9 Lite, free VST synths, and the voice memo app on my phone are all I used for this EP, and it was mastered in ProTools using stock plugins.

Just you wait for my next album though. I'm very very excited about what I have so far.

I got a real mic and audio interface.
I've written ~40 new songs since I released Call It Anything and I chose the BEST 11 for the new album. It's 100% written and about 50% recorded, so be on the lookout in the next few weeks or so.

working on some techno stuff and making loads of it, also lookin for a cool label to work with.

I also have a plan on promoting myelf in my area by leaving cds at local clubs. I find it exciting
