It's kinda baffling how he manages to write some very great lyrics, then drown them out with faux-deep, 19-year-old-tumblr-girl-that-just-cant-even lyrics. Pure Comedy has some lovely songs though, it's just a shame the lyrics are mostly stupid.
Fucking hell guys actually listen to the new album. I'm a (former) fan, and it's a 3/10 and honestly I'm giving it too much credit. Embarrassing release. The lyrics in particular are um... among the worst of all time, any genre. Sorry.
