I mean, I'm basically bald now so not anymore. What I don't understand is why some people get so mad when bald people don't just shave their head. Like, I've seen dudes online who just get so rabidly upset when they see a photo of a dude with a receding hairline or a bit of a combover. It's like they think the balding dude is trying to fool them or something when, in reality, the dude is just trying to preserve a little self confidence.

My dad (who is a happa) still has a full head of hair at 45, while my maternal grandfather started balding at like 17 I think. My brother started going bald at 17 as well.

I'm 18 right now and I'm fucking frightened as to whether or not I'll go bald, because I have my father's thick Asian hair genes (whereas my brother has/had my grandfather's thin wiry hair genes) but they say it is your maternal grandfather who determines whether or not you get MPB. I don't know if having my father's hair factors into genetics or not, but it's still worrisome because I can't grow any facial hair whatsoever, like my father.

As far as balding goes, do whatever you feel most comfortable with it. If you feel better still having some hair and working with it then go for it. If not though, just try shaving it all off and see how you feel. It'll grow back if you don't like it.

I shave my head but I still typically wear a baseball cap when I'm out and about. Gotta prevent that sunburn.
