Guy I smoke weed with loves him a lot. I liked "2" myself but thought it got real bland after that. Other bands he likes are The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys and also some mediocre hip-hop he'll rap along to. Recently he's been trying to impress me more by, for example, putting on some city pop album he found on youtube and then looking at me impatiently, awaiting my opinion. It's cute though.

Mac's good for a few listens but the 'aesthetic" kinda wears on me. But its good late-night car driving music or decent music to write a book report to. Very smooth. Lots of obscure chords. I like his voice. He's a nice guy.

His fanbase is comparable to Disturbed's. Horrid in every way.

People into Mac Demarco have tiny cocks desu

I like his first three albums a lot. Consistent fun stuff with some occasionally interesting and unique song topics. Solid guitar playing, tight grooves, nice vocal performances. I remember when I got my Salad Days record I just kept spinning it over and over without really thinking about it. And I'm not the type to listen to albums more than once in a week that kind of thing.

I'm not enjoying what he's been up to in recent years but I'm not about to become a hater. He's making a name for himself, keeping 'indie' rock strong. No judgements.

Really liked his shit when he first became a reputable artist. His stuff is a bit over played now and his newer stuff is constantly ruined by pretentious white girls.

All in all i respect him as a decent music artist and hes a big player in modern alternative music but by no means is he as great as people try to play him up to be.
