It's really hit or miss with him. His early EPs and mixes are great, but I can't say I've enjoyed any full-length albums he's put out. Piel is...ehhh? I don't hate it, but I really hope that's not the whole album. Honestly, if he put out a whole album of wonky piano shit like the twelve minute mark of &&&&& or Held Apart that would be great. It'll never happen tho.

A lot of his stuff just doesn't feel finished to me. It sounds like he got halfway through and called it a day, then made an album out of a dozen or so of those instances.

Coming from someone who gets fucked in the ass on the regular, he needs to cool it on the whole being gay thing.

i don't care about his new sound. i like progression tho. i am sure he will have some more chaotic creative tracks on the album.

it took me a minute to get used to his voice, but i don't mind it now.
i definitely hope he isn't singing on the whole album though.

tho i only really fuck with the earlier, wonky glitched out stuff he was making. muh atmospheric crooning is a type of sound that never really captured my interest

he's still pretty genius but sometimes i feel he's like james blake, in that they both had something unfinished but genuinely fascinating early on but lost it in the process of trying to 'improve' it
