I can't get over Joy Division's flat, shitty mixing. All of their stuff sounds like it was made in a vacuum. Like the Velvet Underground knew how to use their crappy recording process to their advantage to create a gritty sound, but JD just sounds like shit.

Perhaps. JD is an example of a band that was ruined by its shitty fans. Like they're all basic bitches who buy the shirt at Hot Topic. I don't even like the music though, like I've tried and tried to get into them but every time I do it just sounds like a bunch of amateurs in a vacuum sealed room with the shittiest most flat sound imaginable.
