No, her half-assed and banal attempt at "mature" songwriting is NOT the best track, I don't what it is but there is no way it can be this.

technically she's still what /pol/ would call a "good goy" so they can't tear her to shreds just yet. besides, she's still basically a kid and her label/mgmt probably paid a pretty penny for all this attention

but make no mistake: she's tripping herself up with this recently cultivated pop theorist stuff. not a good look! there are always opinionated progressives waiting in the wings to drag her airheaded bourgeoisie butt back to whatever kiwi mcmansion she crawled out of. this has all the ingredients for a taylor swift-style backlash — hell, she barely dodged it the last time around with the whole royals debacle
