There's a guy that jams at my buddies play every now and then that almost made me quit guitar altogether. He had this weird black jazzmaster with a purple pickguard and strange writing painted on it, not sure what it said. It was really strange watching him play. You're underestimating the power of Morrison. His generation got old so his relevancy is somewhat lost on us, but they were a defining band of their time.
