Short and succinct, no filler and a cohesive album.

There's a lot of historical significance and influence it had on other albums, but aside from that there's lots of great things about it:

1) Beats are all great w/ relaxed conversational delivery give you a nice relaxed hazy feel after a while.
2) No filler at all.
3) Hooks are as simple as they need to be.
4) Nas's "observer" perspective is very nice and refreshing. He very rarely puts himself in the center of the action and just tells us how it is.
5) You would be hard-pressed to find a single bad lyric on this thing, or a single moment that feels out of place.
6) Has a few conceptual moments and great observations but these are sparse and aren't forced down your throat.
