What's the general consensus on this album?
I like it a lot. The Big Black/Rapeman sounds on the album mixed with 90s metal makes for a great album. Creative heavy music is sometimes a challenge to come across. Overall I like it more than Spiderland, but they're really quite different and hard to compare.
I always thought it was hilarious how similar Brian's voice was to Steve Albini's on this album.

Better album art than music

Listening to it for the first time right now, and the first thing I noticed was how much it sounded like a toned down Big Black.
I definitely enjoy it a lot though.
I Have no idea why I never see anybody talk about it on here.
i really enjoy it. a lot different than spiderand, that's probably what turns some people away from it. i like some of the harsher sounds and just the weird shit they put into the songs. also sounds great, thanks steve
