Now that that's out of the way, what is it with Japanese albums having covers with greenish lines around the sides and a circle in the middle? Please explain.

They're from John Zorn's Tzadik label, which has had a lot of albums put out by Japanese artists.

Anybody heard of marmalade butcher? I like them but I haven't met anyone who knows of them as well. Great math rock imo.
