Theres plenty of good jazz, rap, and extreme metal being produced these days (last couple years) but where the fuck is all the good melodious music? Please share some albums from the later half of this decade that are worth my time.
There just hasnt been a single band that has affected me in the way that Fleet Foxes did.
If it helps, i really like Kind Gizzard, Homeshake, Mac, but off the top of my head those are the only good ones that come to mind.

And heres an example of how modern music has me scratching my head.
This album seemed like itd be so good and I want to enjoy it so much but those vocals are so mediocre and stylized that it ruins it. This is the feeing I get when I hear any harmonic vocal based music these days

Another example of a modern release that was highly acclaimed. I mean its not bad or anything but the vocals are so....weak
