Something new, musically and lyrically. The pop scene changed a lot since Pure Heroine, which was a breath of fresh air for being withdrawn, authentic, and substantive. Now that pop music has moved in that direction (in image only), I don't think Lorde can pull off something in the same vein as Pure Heroine while still managing to stand out.

Good tunes that I like. Enjoyed Pure Heroine so hoping this is similarly as good.

I just hope Lorde sticks with more downbeat stuff on the album. My favorite songs on Pure Heroine were Biting Down and Buzzcut Season. She's at her best when she doesn't have to do much 'work' vocally.

This song might get a good remix or something, otherwise it's just not going anywhere.

That new song isn't very good to be honest. The production doesn't sound like her debut at all, which would be fine if it didn't sound like something anybody else who's currently on the charts would make.
