I don't dance either and I love Saint Etienne. I'd describe them as a synthpop/downtempo crossover. Plenty of musical depth to make it worthwhile for home listening.

I'm really torn between loving and hating Calvin's work nowadays. I used to love the album Beat Happening but now I feel a bit tired of the postmodern "it's bad on purpose" routine. You Turn Me On is still awesome though.
