I think they are still alright I actually liked V a lot and these two new singles are just ok, I like Daisy more and I guess I'll enjoy both of them in the context of the album more.
What happened is their sound just got cleaner. I find V to be just a much cleaner version of Wavves's first three albums.

eh.. Daisy was cool. nothing to get me excited for their upcoming release though...

he sucks so bad. it was kind of interesting in 2008 when he basically epitomized the be pretty, rich and white but edgy talk about smoking weed and shit XD and make super lo-fi songs that are just like 3 chord pop rock songs but super lo fi so its cool and indie type of guy. as an archetype of that cultural moment he was interesting but in 2017 hes just a cringeball
