They're still liked here. There's a lot of bands that have a big following on here without being /mu/core, XTC is another example. I think to be /mu/core it also has to be a bit memey in someway or discussable outside of the music in a humorous manner, which Fugazi kind of aren't.

I frequently see Repeater listed in more extensive lists of what's generally accepted as "the cannon" here.
This board is mostly kiddos, though, so it's always unique or specific when something pachinko balls its way down from older generations. And Fugazi has been inactive for forever now -- you would probably be in your 30's to have ever seen them.
At any rate, let's start a typical /mu/ argument about them.
