I can go and on how questionable its concept is and how well executed it is, teenagers doesn't fit at all for example. But it still works and can leave an emotional impact, more so than American Idiot.


I'd welcome more concept albums, it encourages to listen to the album and not just randomly pick off tracks like some people do.

It's not bad, I like a lot of the song from Danger Days.
The DJ skits are terrible and Sing is easily the worst MCR song.
I just thought it was the wrong stylistic departure at the wrong time both in terms of musical style and the band's image
Prior to the release of Danger Days, My Chem were teasing a stripped down proto-punk sound for their next album and I was really excited for it so when they actual album came out, I was really disappointed

i mean even if this were true it's still a good album. have you heard Conventional Weapons? the album they made before Danger Days then scrapped? pretty ok album, got some good songs on there, but in the end not really memorable. MCR was always about shaking things up, and Danger Days did that

I really liked Danger Days. Thought it was a solid concept album and a lot of fun too which is a difficult thing to nail.

Didn't deserve the hate, but they are nowhere as good as /mu/ things. Their singles were great, but other than that pretty average.
