Yeah, it's pretty damn good.
But even though they say it's vaporwave, I'm not sure I would even consider it that, I think it's more of an ambient album.

I mean, vaporwave has evolved into a multitude of subgenres that are all so wildly different from eachother, that it has kinda dilluted the meaning of the word.
Not that I see it as a bad thing, most of the new subgenres are far more interesting than the original 'slowed down 80's songs vaporwave' that started it all.

It's ambient vaporwave, for sure. I agree with your post. BoaND is an ambient album that has its roots firmly entrenched in its vaporwave roots. But yes, it is different than the vaporwave we have come to understand.

I know /mu/ hates this cliche, but its the perfect album to get stoned and listen to on a rainy day while reading a book in bed.
