Thoughts on Jethro Tull?
he was a really smart guy and we should thank him for helping develop modern agriculture

What did Jethro mean by this?

The prog-rock band named after him is awesome, too.

>game night mixer at college
>Rock Band, nice, I can show off my singing voice!
>Hey, those girls on the instruments are cute
>Jethro Tull! Dad always used to play this when I was growing up. Very catchy. I've got this in the bag.
>W-watching as the p-pretty panties run
>Hey aqualung
I don't like most of their stuff. Too fruity, and Ian's fluffy singing gets on my nerves. Thick as a Brick and Aqualung are stellar albums though.
I haven't really heard much outside Aqua and Brick. What else is good?

I particularily enjoy their albums "Stand Up" and "Benefit", which came out before Aqualung and TAAB.
They are just as bluesy and folky, but with less of a prog twist. Definitely worth checking out.
I have only ever heard Aqualung, the song. But it has in my opinion one of the sickest fucking riffs ever recorded. Going to listen to it again now.

Fruity? How? That adjective could very well be applied to modern boy bands and 80's hair metal bands definitely.
Living In The Past is such a badass song.

They are Crescent Fresh
especially when Tony Iommi was playing bass for them.
Scruffy bearded man playing flute on the street corner = homeless/crazy.
Same dude playing on stage at the Chicago Theater or wherever = $100/ticket
memey but good

A homeless man playing flute as well as Anderson would get picked up instantly. Also he's better dressed than 99% of performers.
