ITT: Albums that make you severely emotional. A Moon Shaped Pool doesn't make me very sad, but its the closest an album has ever came.
anything by phil elverum but especially glow pt 2
I DRANK SO MUCH TEA
Stonemilker
i put on a modern country radio station or sometimes a pop one and if im in the right mood one of the songs is gonna get me pretty quick

>inb4 "p4k drone"
>waves
>fml
>real friends
>wolves
>franks song
>>30 hours
is that the most depressing streak of songs in modern music?
>>71293457
Dear god... the feels
>WE CAN NEVER LIE
>AND YOU CAN NEVER STEAL THE TIME
>AND WE CAN ONLY WATVH THEM DIEEEEE
>AND WE CAN NEVER FIND OUT WHYYYYYYYYYY
it's not even that emotional. but it just does something to me man. it's like i'm 16 again.
Easy one

its so good. severely dissapointed by his latest
This is the only album that can consistently draw tears from me. I always lose it at either The Big Gloom or Earthmover, or both.
>>71294036
Go fuck yourself
>>71295523
I Don't Love is the most crushing song I've ever heard
/mu/ I've never cried listening to an album
>>71295523
>>71294605
These are 10/10s for me
Is there something wrong with me? Am I missing out on key experiences that other music listeners are having? Should I give up completely?
>>71294352
top taste, my nigger.
>>71293014
ful stop and daydreaming are fuckin amazing
This album destroys me, brings me back to my drug filled teenage years where all I cared about was listening to music and impressing my high school sweetheart
When I am at the pearly gates
This will be on my videotape
Normie but idgaf

New Nick Cave as well.
Not being a native speaker means that I sometimes have to look up the lyrics, especially when they're being sung really softly and that sometimes ruins the mood. Sometimes I really wish I could experience the album fully.
the second side to this makes me cry and i don't understand why
>>71293014
I cried to this album; tears of boredom
their worst one not counting PH or TKOL
Yung Lean's Daniel Johnston-esque side project
Never again & hotel in Minsk are depressing as hell.
Most all Death Cab but especially Plans. That album got me through an actively suicidal period in life.

>the two greatest albums ever
sorry 4chan, rebbit beat you to this one.
you guys are right about everything else though
Most emotional momcore
Ever since I saw Lost in Translation, Sometimes by MBV puts me in such a melancholic state. It's very relaxing, I love it.

>Is there something wrong with me? Am I missing out on key experiences that other music listeners are having?
Nah, I've never cried just because of an album either. The only time I cried to one was when I was already really sad (this was to Giles Corey).
>>71293014
OPs pic. Seriously, everytime I hear the lyric "I'm not living, I'm just killing time" in True Love Waits it destroys me.
>>71299832
Unironically this does make me cry. First heard dream house while my grandfather was dying. I hope it was blissful, grampy.
>>71293014
specifically because I live in the area and knew John Wise and remembering the aftermath of that.
>>71295822
and also with you
>>71299743
definitely this
also pic related
>>71293921
No it's a string of completely average songs
>>71295523
The Big Gloom is probably my only 10/10 song. It's the most soul crushing thing I've ever heard. The whole album is great but that song is by far the best.
>>71293014
True love waits
>>71297787
what player is this?
>>71299724
I just spent three months in Japan and listened to MBV whilst there, it was so surreal to walk around shibuya at night and feel like I was in a movie of my own.
>>71297689
>did you know how much I love you?
>>71301920
>Look mom, I'm showing that tibetan pottery forum that I'M the alpha male! Women want ME!
>>71298405
>WELL WELL WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL
>WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL
>>71293457
Hospice is unironically one of the worst things to happen to this board
Yeah sure go ahead and laugh
so moving to me
just cried to kehlani - not used to it
if you really let the song sink in it's very intense
>>71302337
I laugh at you. I laugh at you for not choosing A Rush of Blood to The Head.
>>71298622
dubs dont lie
>>71302235
what the hell am i doing here.... ;(
>>71294365
I hate how this is basically a collection of instrumental songs with Rob's voice which feels totally out of place except for the singles that came out of it.
>>71297657
The last song made me cry
>>71295523
>>71301678
>The Big Gloom
oh my god, yes. I always end up hanging onto those last notes at the end.
most moving post-rock i've ever heard. towards the end of Sieve Of Eratosthenes has me feeling the loneliness of the universe.
