Why did they choose the objectively worst song on the album as their first single? The only song that comes near it's awfulness is ''The Noisy Eater'' which also is complete shit.

Because Danny Brown + MF Doom = hype. Also Noisy Eater is good

Frankie Sinatra is OK in the context of the album.
The Noisy Eater is the only song I absolutely hate and want to skip every time. Its so terrible and pointless and inane and doesn't even have the decency to follow a breakfast-lunch-dinner verse format. It's just incomplete nonsense.
The album is still damn amazing imo. Just really am not into Noisy Eater.
Personally, I don't find a single flaw On Wildflower
One of the few perfect 10/10's if you ask me. AOTY 2016

I agree with the frankie sinatra part being in the context of the album as well, but I disagree slightly with your opinion of the noisy eater. I just like the theme of the song---a cartoon-based breakfast commercial in the form of a song with a sweet sample of The Beatles as the chorus. It's not a song I want to listen to all the time, but just like FL, it's good within the context of the album.

And to answer the OP. I agree. I think it's a horrible single to release. Because I'm Me should have been the first single instead. Frankie alienated too many people.
The demos and cut tracks are coming soon. Get hyped.
