I like a lot of songs he wrote for The White Stripes, White Blood Cells and De Stijl are very enjoyable pop music, Elephant doesn't have the same staying power with me despite it's hype. Haven't listened to much outside White Stripes but from what I have listened to it just isn't that fun

he made some great music but he's delusional for thinking every garage rock inspired band is 'ripping him off'.

To be honest I haven't heard much from it at all, it's something I should do but after hearing some of Get Behind Me Satan I'm afraid that the same forced Americana weirdness would put me off, but I haven't given a judgement yet. I still don't think it could match up to what came earlier.
