Incunabula still has its charm imo, the sounds are a bit cheesy at times but the compositions still hold up.

Incunabula is literally the only Autechre album that has shown even a hint of age, and only on a few songs. That's likely because it was really just a compilation of various songs they made over the years, instead of a cohesive album that was produced in one session. Everything else of their work has aged flawlessly. Confield is still ahead of it's time. It will be ahead of it's time in 50 years.
>>71276420
then what?
>>71276434
techno/hip-hop
This and Debut. They're still good in a sense but the music just sound overplayed now.

Here's what an album that aged like shit actually looks like.
Pretty much everything by Orbital is like that.
>>71276367
IMO Drukqs is timeless as fug, i still obsess over it like a madman.
Warp should reissue it on vinyl tho, i'm sick of Discogs-jews haggling
calling something dated or saying it aged really badly is the biggest pleb shit cop out excuse for not being able to appreciate the merits of a song/album/artist
it literally means nothing apart from the fact that you arent able to immerse yourself in the music just because of the fact it sounds retro or different to what you hear today (which is not a bad thing at all)
>>71276458
in sides and everything after that still sounds fresh imo
>>71276433
>Confield is still ahead of it's time. It will be ahead of it's time in 50 years.
arca already made ae obsolete lol
>>71276463
fuck. im gonna start listening to music from the biblical period then
>>71276467
In Sides is the only exception, really.
Things they released past In Sides aren't even worth talking about.
>>71276489
>im gonna start listening to music from the biblical period then

Expanded is the better version

>>71276502
Not really, the album art.
>>71276446
The synthy songs from Debut (Crying, There's More to Life Than This, Big Time Sensuality, etc.) aged like milk but still bang
>>71276270
>>71276463
>ignores time's effect on music
>considers this immersion
yeah ok buddy
Every hip-hop album released before current day minus one year.
>>71276473
"lol"
>>71276502
>Things they released past In Sides aren't even worth talking about.
The Middle of Nowhere was their last great album and it still sounds just fine.
>>71276458
>good album that people still genuinely like
>oh it's aged badly
also you haven't even listened to the album this those hot opinions
>>71276874
"Aged badly" doesn't directly translate to "a bad album that you can't appreciate and enjoy", you know.
