I decided to give this a listen after hearing the memes. It's

honestly i was excited for this but after my first listen i felt nothing but crushing disapointment

I just like it because it sounds like Sophie but less menacing &or hyperkinetic. It's not as wanky or pretentious or full of fuckery. That's not to say Sophie is bad or anything, but Ribbit Ribbit Fish is basically Sophie Lite™ with lyrics.

I just said Kero Kero Bonito is like a lighter, less abstract version of Sophie with cutesy, simple lyrics. I like Sophie, but sometimes I want to listen to something similar but not as exhausting.
