I think people hear praise for Aphex and misunderstand his music as the greatest thing of all time, when really he's just a dude who's incredibly knowledgeable about electronics and perfected the art of the jam.

Drukqs is a mixture of prepared piano pieces and acid techno pieces. The first song is not even remotely similar to, for instance, the second track. Completely different. Listen to the whole album 5+ times at least before you form an opinion
