Recommend me the best alternative metal from the 90's and early 2000s. Looking for hidden gems, one hit wonders, even popular tracks that havent been heard in a while. If you dont have any of those just post your favorite type o negative or limp bizkit song

>Soundgarden
>Mudhoney
>Alice In Chains
>The Screaming Trees
>Nirvana
>Pearl Jam
Melvins, The Pixies, STP, Pumpkins honorable mention.
Important to note that this scene came to revile itself and scorn the attention it was getting. Tad's singer stopped wearing flannel, AIC identified as metal.
They dont want your money so keep it in your pocket.

Chevelle's Wonder What's Next and Sinner by Drowning Pool off the top of my head for early 2000s.

I love Soundgarden and Alice in Chains but can't stand Limp Bizkit and Type O Negative, what is wrong with me?

>I love Soundgarden and Alice in Chains but can't stand Limp Bizkit and Type O Negative
That's completely understandable.

Type O Negative is decent.
If you actually like Limp Bizkit or any nu metal for that matter then there's something genuinely wrong with you.

I'm just surprised that early/mid 90s alternative rock/grunge artists like them or even the pumpinks often get lumped together with awful mid/late 90s nu metal because I think the latter are so much worse
Alice in Chains is the greatest band to ever exist
small known fact
