What does /mu/ think of the Beastie Boys?
Paul's Boutique is the best Hip-Hop album ever. I don't think too many albums from any genre has given me so much to listen and re-listen to.
Licensed to Ill was given to me by my uncle at the tender age of 5 years old. Was my first album, and honestly it's probably what shaped my love for both rock and hiphop genres.
Paul's Boutique is amazing, Hello Nasty is super fun, and they're actually pretty damn talented musicians if you listen to that instrumental album they did.

Mein Negroid! I still listen to Paul's Boutique pretty often because its so fucking comfy. While I didn't really care for B-Boy Bouillabaisse pretty much every track on PB was solid
fun band there mix of rock and roll and hip hop was very innovative licence to ill is great. also paved the way for white rappers which may or may not have been a good thing

Better than RATM, worse than every other Rap/Rock band.

if you listen to the remaster of the album the b boy tracks are all split and theres a few nice ones in there, like year and a day, but they all do feel kinda like demos or b sides
