Has anyone experienced a King Crimson concert live?
I have a chance to go, but it'll be mighty costly.
I have a feeling they're gonna play for at least 3 hours...

I haven't but I've seen Fripp solo a couple of times, always great. Go see them, you won't get another chance.

Apparently, the album Radical Action to Unseat the Hold of Monkey Mind is basically a simulation of seeing KC live.
Not worth your time and money, just stay at home and browse /mu/ its much better.
No but it's obvious they're still great https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOdk015mLEo
I'm going to see them when they come to the US this summer.

No one here is that old OP. I assume they were great back then though, if it's not too expensive, absolutely go.
>4 drummers including Gavin Harrison
That's cool, but why?
i saw them open for dream theater...they played an hour, it was fine.
I saw Fripp Belew Gunn Mastelotto on The Construktion of Light tour.
Was amazing. Master musicians. Improvised some cool Projekt type shit that I didn't expect. Go!! Fripp ain't gonna' be around for ever.
