If you like Hot Snakes/Drive Like Jehu I recommend Rocket From The Crypt's All Systems Go II (II, not 1 or 3, its on spotify). Same guitarist from DLJ/Hot Snakes, making pop punk and noisepunk all on one comp, and Night Marchers - Allez Allez, which are the Hot Snakes, w/o the singer from the Hot Snakes.

His split with Grouper is good, I listened to Allegory of hearing after Temple IV when first getting into him and I'd honestly say that's a good choice.

And now the rain is also good, his first album but still very good. Really shows how his sound progressed.

I'd also recommend Away from the Lunar Waters by Hakobune and The Pelagics by Super Minerals if you like Roy. Super Minerals take his sound in more hypnogoic pop emeralds-esque direction which I love.
