If you look back at albums such as get rich or die tryin, there really hasn't been a single album able to surpass it when it comes to how hot it was back then, the impact it had, the hunger 50 had in that album, even if it was all just a huge fake commercial stunt by dre, it WORKED

Nowadays everything in rap is VAPID, meaningless, temporary, there is no defining sound for the current era, while 50 definitely defined the sound of the whole early-to-mid-late 2000s
