I want to release epic music but I'm so drained after work that I just play RPGs :(
give up the rpgs my friend
music takes dedication, and silly /v/ideo games just get in the way
If you enjoy playing weebshit menu simulators then I doubt you have the artistry to produce anything worth listening to.
If you like western RPGs you could make dungeon synth
Couple things that help me
Meditation for a bit after a busy day can help energize, and for me so does Vitamin D
Also don't worry about doing it all at once. Just get in a habit of doing it for like 15 minutes at a time, then fuck around. Then try 30. Etc etc.
If you can get into the habit of playing games to relax and being able to quit to work on music, too, that's a really solid one. That'll help you a ton in the long run, developing discipline to not give yourself a mile when you offer yourself an inch
Games are good to recharge your batteries, but if after your batteries are charged you are still playing games, then that's on you.
At a certain point music becomes just as fun if not more than playing games, if that is your passion. But even if it is your passion there are times when you don't want to work because you are lazy or tired.
That's me RN. I'm tired AF and don't want work on a track. Gotta find time when I have the energy though.

meditation isn't placebo, but if you're a lazy fuckin' weeb it won't change shit.
