I see people comment he's the modern day jimi hendrix which is blasphemy. He might have some ability to play his songs(VooDoo Child and VH's Panama) from a trained perspective but creatively bland and bankrupt offering nothing new to his genre . I know a guy that can play and Metallica's Enter Sandman and Pantera's Cowboys from Hell on guitar but in no way that means he's as good as either of the original players.

I think people on /mu/ shit on him a little too much. Continuum is a decent record. Seems like a douche, though.

Well obviously that's shite

I agree his playing may not be particularly creative, but technically he has mastered guitar. Same as modern Clapton, if they weren't playing blues rock and ballads you'd see just how good they are.
