What does /mu/ think about Rock Bottom
it's almost perfect, only Little Red Riding Hood Hit the Road feels a little off, it's a good experimental track but it doesn't quite fit with the album
One of the best ever rock albums, probably my favourite.

best pop rock album for sure

I dunno if calling it pop rock was meant to be a slight, but I really do love how listenable it is. Really caught me off guard as being accessible as well as inventive.
the real question is if wyatt would go back in time and not fall out of the window but also then never create rock bottom

>The album, the title of which was an oblique reference to his paraplegia, was largely composed prior to Wyatt's accident

ok whatever, but once he became a rolling vegetable, he wrote shite music anyway
what a loss truly
Album recommendations for more like this? It's beautiful.
He does a good trumpet impression
Sea Song is my favorite

How does /v/ feel knowing Mac DeMarco will look exactly like Wyatt in his old age?

Closest in vibe:
Robert Wyatt - Shleep
Henry Cow - Legend
Different but still trying to blend pop and experimental music:
Cassiber: Beauty and The Beast
Henry Cow & Slapp Happy - Desperate Straights
Art Bears - The World As It Is Today
9.5/10
