/mu/, I want to hear Pet Sounds. But I never listened to Beach Boys in my life. Should I listen their previous albuns before and only then Pet Sounds, or can I listen Pet Sounds right now without any previous knowledge?

While the creativity is definitely evident that early into their career, I wouldn't get into them unless you REALLY like pet sounds. the order I'd go with is

Pet sounds>their previous albums in chronological order>smile sessions

Most songs that were supposed to be on smile ended up being used on their later albums, but their are still a few gems in the rough.
