Most people don't even know what prog rock means. It does not mean prog as in politics. It means progressive as in literally progressing the music in the current song itself.
It's why some YES songs and other were 30 minutes long.
They were progressing.

Good prog rock is really fun to pay attention to, good post rock is just background noise at best
