are you asking the question in a past tense form because you think the mantle has been taken by someone else or because you think him dying means he is no longer the best guitarist of all time, and in the context of the latter, how can anyone be the "greatest guitarist of all time" if the human life span doesn't cover "all time", is it like a baton given in a relay or the carrying of the olympic torch and furthermore on an unrelated note isn't it pretty much up to individual taste who the greatest guitarist of all time is anyway
