It's far better than either Hybrid Theory or Meteora, despite being a remix album it's so different to the point it's almost an entirely new album. The production is great.

Objectively their best album, it's a shame many never gave this one a chance because of the stigma against the band.

This may have applied 15 years ago, but a lot of people that still listen to them are those that grew up with those albums when they came out.

Why else do you think that no matter what they release, an outcry of certain fans just can't let go of the past, clamoring for them to make another record like their first two?

I grew up with the band, and honestly if they continued to make music like their first two I would've dropped them a long time ago. This new pure pop direction is very worrying, depending on this new album I may finally call it quits as much as I'd disappointingly hate to.

You see, I was actually one of them. When I was like 12 they were my favourite band and when I heard The Catalyst and some other single from ATS I completly stopped listening to their music.
Literally yesterday I decided to give this thing a listen and holy fuck was I surprised. Im pretty sure that if any other band released this record (even Radiohead lol) it would get much more love than hate.

Its a real shame its Linkin Park.
