first four tracks are pretty much perfect, falls off hard after that imo

hack but i like his singing most of the time

Masterpiece, 10/10.
The rest of Interpol's stuff doesn't measure up BUT it's quite good. Next best being Antics.

But Bright Lights is so singular and perfect and not really comparable to any rock album since.

Good lyrics. Some of them appear to be nonsense but they're doing something right when I remember them and forget 95% of the rest of lyrics in rock music.
