Except it really isn't. His most well known songs do tend to stick to a basic formula, but his longer and more progressive songs successfully places him above the rest of the lo-fi indie scene.

Also, Ending Of Dramamine is a great example of a song that is lo-fi, but still manages to be grandiose and encapsulating in it's sound.
