OP, this guy knows his shit. The only bands called posthardcore that are good are atdi, fugazi, and dlj. The bands he listed are great, with the exception of Unwound which I find to be overrated.

I didn't like that one much either. I like their mid 90s stuff more, but they're still an above average indie rock band, 3-5 good songs on pretty much every album.

I have some pretty weird trivia about Brainiac.

Because I'm a fan of theirs I watch live clips and read through comments of songs on youtube. It turns out that Mark Hamill's son Griffin is an OCD level fan, he leaves comments on pretty much every video of theirs.

Relationship of Command is better.
