What's thoughts on Pink Flag?

Most "fun" Wire album. Not as experimental as their later stuff, much more of a straight punk rock record.
I can't really say I prefer it to Chairs Missing, but it's easier to listen to for sure.
START TO MOVE

Chairs Missing would be the logical next album to go to then? Just starting to get into them, really like Pink Flag though.

Don't know why people insist on calling it post-punk when it's clearly just punk
Fun but the songs are way too samey and therefore gets boring/tedious around the halfway mark. Chairs missing is their best album though wire are very overrated compared to other punk/post-punk bands

154 is their best
>>71070853
I'm no expert, I've only listened to their first 3 albums and some random songs off later ones.
Yes, Chairs Missing is a good next step as far as I can tell. But 154 is great too. Your choice really.
Also, I have a tshirt with the pink flag cover and some guy asked me if I'm a commie lel.

Literally the pinnacle of punk.
>>71070876
it isn't post punk
just art punk
Deceived me in thinking it was post-punk, therefore it's shit

wdhmbt?
in my top 4
>>71070876
i feel like this is somewhat negated by the fact that each song is only like 2 minutes long, and the album is fairly short though
>>71070876
reuters is just punk till the end
that last part is post-punk t b h

Incredible. Their first body of work is basically flawless.
RAPE
that's what so significant about it, a punk album that stands exactly on the line of post punk.
the best of what punk rock can offer
