If the point of an album is to make me cry, I shouldn't have to help it; it should just make me cry.
Hospice requires you to listen to it alone, with headphones, focusing really hard on the (barely there) music with a lyrics page open just to understand the lyrics while you stretch the meaning of the words to apply them to your own general feelings of loneliness.
Like holy shit, at that point I'm just making myself cry while an indie dude whispers in my ear.
