BC might be better than The Kind of Blue, and Helsinki/Suomi, but every Vladislav Delay album after those is much better than BC.

But I just noticed you weren't even talking about the specific subgenre of minimal bullshit techno, which makes your claim even worse since the Belleville Three were already better, Basic Channel is a step down from them. BC are clearly more inspirational or innovative or niche than definitive.
